Dr.
Escudero Rotman founded a service specialized
in Couples and Family Therapy in 1987. She offered
clinical supervision to her staff as well as conducted
several workshops regarding how to integrate different
psychological theories and techniques in psychotherapy.
She also worked
for the Addiction Treatment Program of Mount Sinai
Hospital doing individual and group therapy for
substance abusers, helping their family members
and giving lectures to the community.
Dr. Escudero Rotman
is currently specialized in the treatment of Anxiety
Disorders. She is the former Director of several
Anxiety Disorder Programs both overseas and in
New York. She has been invited as a key note speaker
to give lectures to associations of mental health
professionals. She has been often featured in
many talk and radio shows (i.e., Cristina show)
as well as in medical news.
Individual, Group,
Couples and Family Psychotherapy are available.
Dr. Escudero accepts most insurance and offers
a sliding fee scale for the uninsured. Groups
are specialized in Panic Disorder, Generalized
Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Posttraumatic
Stress Disorder, Phobias, and Obsessive Compulsive
Disorder. Dr. Escudero Rotman is an active member
of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America
(ADAA) as well as the Obsessive Disorder Foundation
(ODF) that specializes in the research, diagnosis
and treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
